Has anyone tried out the Lunar Cruiser folding scooter? http://lunarscooters.com/shop/cruiser-electric-scooter/ It seems to have good specs - it's relatively light, it folds well, and it has big inflatable tires and disc brakes. But when I asked, they wouldn't tell me what kind of batteries...
