battery help

I what to buy a battery to carry on my trike. I currently have a 48 volt , 11.6 amp. I would like to purchase a battery , 48 or 52 volt with a 11.6 or larger. I want LG, Panasonic, Sony cells. Does the manufacturer of battery matter. Hailing makes a good battery, right. Can you help.
