Hi - new CCS purchaser (not received yet) - I've seen the chain drop topic here a few times, and have been wondering if/why a long cage derailleur is needed in this application. I'm not positive, but I think 21 teeth is within the capacity of short cage derailleur.

The CCS will be my second electric bike, the first being a Priority Eight mid-drive conversion with a Bafang BBSHD. I've been reading the threads, looking for potential trouble spots - thanks all for all of your provided experiences. I expect there will be some issues, and hopefully am well...
