Gazelle city Zen t10 weight capacity 130 kg can it handle 150 kg

We get the occational bike through the shop that has been overloaded, it’s pretty much always the rear wheel that goes. Shocking I know. I suggest they contact a tandem specialist, those things are really hard on their wheels. Co-motion in the US and Van Raam in Holland both offer e-tandems.

Marion Iowa Considers Speed Limits for E-Bikes

I ride on trails and sidewalks most of the time as the road has become just too dangerous in the area in which I live. While there are the occasional knuckleheads blasting around at dopey speeds on crowded walkways and trails on e-scooters and e-bikes I find that guys on road bikes are a real...

    Close my account!

There’s a likeable British food? Outside of pub grub I always thought of British food as some sort of punishment. sorta like German food.

    Close my account!

A common problem everywhere. I work part time at a Trek factory shop, if you want to meet self entitled people just check out some of our roadbike customers. I’m a little bummed out that this isn’t an at least partly Polish club. I do love cabbage rolls.

Which bicycle companies have fast smart bike chargers?

Do you really need it though? It just seems like a good way to beat an expensive battery to death quickly and you are still looking for an electrical outlet part way through your day.

    Show Us a Tool

Park Tool PZT-2 pizza cutter. I’m not a fan of Park, buying Unior whenever they offer an equivalent, but you’ve gotta love a company with a sense of humour. and it even comes with a wee bike rack!

    My Radwagon 5 arrived

I bought a Trek long tail cargo bike last June, since then it’s done most of our grocery runs, hauled scrap metal, been used as a cooler at a BBQ and even hauled another bicycle. Fantastic things, more people should have them. I’m sure that the more you use it, the more you’ll love it.

    Seat upgrade

I used to ride some pretty crazy sports motorcycles, the kind with seats seemingly designed to hurt you. There are gel, foam and air filled cushions that fit over the stock seat and greatly improve things. I’ve had a few and don’t remember any of them being very expensive. Airhawk seats are...

Silca pumps. Top quality, rebuildable and painfully expensive but worth the investment.

Tyre Pressure Guage or yet another new pump

All of my gauges are mechanical. They are accurate enough and I’ve never had one fail. and no batteries are needed.

How many miles a year do you ride?

Only about 2000 km a year. I suppose it’s not bad for a guy who only a few years ago was stuck behind a desk 9 hours a day. retirement is great, now if I didn’t live in a land where winter can be so darn nasty.

Bosch eBike apps - UK bike

If you want the Flow app to automatically engage you have to leave it open on your phone at all times. which is a pain if you shut your phone off at night and forget to turn that app back on in the morning. if you use the automatic security on the app it also means you have to carry your phone...

    Question about Grease !

The tube shows it to be a low temperature synthetic grease. it has to work at low temperatures, high temperature grease may be way too thick at the temperatures your motor operates at. its synthetic, likely to keep it from ruining your polymer gear train or causing the seals to swell and...

    Question about Grease !

That’s not a good idea at all. That’s for slow moving, sliding parts at elevated temperatures. its not for rotating parts like bearing or parts that shear their lubricants like gears.

    Question about Grease !

Synthetic means they can charge too much for it but it won’t degrade any plastic components within the assembly, which a petroleum based lubricant might do. low temperature means it otherwise nothing special. you could likely get away with a silicone based grease but why not use the...
