I'm pretty sure my password is stored somewhere other than the display due to the fact I bought a new one and still have the same problem. I believe you may be correct about not entering a whole NEW password but I bought this bike about a year ago and can't remember ANYTHING of what it may be...

Hello, I accidently set a password on my display and now I cannot access my parameters. I've tried a new display but no go. Would buying a new controller for the motor default/remove my password and allow me access? Brand is hjm, and model is joyrider.
