I decided to open up the battery connector and found that the connector on each end is where the 48v supply goes to, the larger one is negative. The bike powered up and the throttle responded, but no charge indicator even though I know that the battery is fully charged. Anybody?

Greetings, I saw your post and I have the exact same problem with trying to use a generic 48volt battery. Did you get an answer or did you figure out how to connect it to the 6 pin connection? Thanks for your reply, James
