Many dual suspension fat tires bikes have always ended up weighing about that much (unless they are dedicated mountain bikes, carbon frame, etc.). We'll have to wait and see what the (soon to be released) Velotric Nomad X weighs in at but I'm guessing it will be similar.

Both bikes have some very similar features including dual suspension among others. Segway's rear rack mounts to the main frame instead of the swing axle section so your cargo/load won't get bounced around as much. On their website the Segway is priced at $2,399 right now. Whaddya' think!???

Thanks for the info...this should help a lot of people! Did they happen to change the Torque/Cadence selection option so it can be done on the bike's display instead of having to go through the app like on my Discover 2?

Looks pretty good. Still just 2 piston brakes or 4? Does it retain the quicker acceleration but less top speed like the Nomad 1 or how is it different? With those motor specs it should be capable of both! It should make a nice companion to my Discover 2!

If you can attach a Basil MIK Adapter Plate to your basket it would clip right on & off of the MIK attachment system that is already built into the rear rack of the Discover 2.
