    Hmm, well I figure if 40 Nm on a Monark Bike can do it, a specialized with 35 Nm might be able to do it.

    Alright, thanks... sounds concerning if the bike can't handle mild hills without modification.. I'm not against using a bit of my own legmuscles but I would like to be able to climb hills sweat free. The regular Como is at least 1k more expensive.

    Is it still worth it to get a Como 5 SL in 2024, now discounted to ca 2000 Euro (or about 2100 USD)? Mostly for commuting in a somewhat hilly area. I like the looks of the yellow version, and I like the upright sitting. I don't need removable battery, even though I'm a bit concerned about costs...
