$795 battery + $795 motor + 6% sales tax = $1,685.40 Exact same items on ebay = $1,149 So it's more than $500

$500 premium over ebay though by the time you add in sales tax, and ebay refunds your money if you don't get what you order.

BTW hold off on the Bafang mid drive for a while as a new version is coming out soon with a stronger controller.

Add $500 to those prices for shipping from China. That mid drive is nice, but you can put it together yourself and have a better bike for less money. Breezer or Specialized Mountain bike (need mechanical disc brakes as the mid drive motor kit does not work with a hydraulic set up)...
