Whatever you do, don't remove the metal plate under your axle nut and always check and make sure the allen bolt (on top of the fender stay) is always tight. That plate makes sure the motor won't spin the axle in bikes frame.

another difference between the two, is you can soft peddle the lmt'd thus slowing down, something not possible with the turris without completely stopping the peddles. which could be much welcomed in a city environment. the chainring on the lmt'd is bolted to the crank spindle, meaning you can easily change it, not a big deal at all. best of luck with your decision.

i don't think its the case with the turris, Im pretty certain its the same as the lmt'd where you can program any amount of power you want per level. one can find the details in the "display" section under manuals.

Cortiz, I've never ridden the Turris or any other cadence bike before. I suspect the only difference with a cadence sensor would be how the power ramps up from a stop. If you're stopped AND in a high power level when you start peddling the cadence system will ramp up to that high output...

if you leave a locked ebike out of your sight in san fran for more than 20 minutes or so, you probably should consider your bike disposable.

i can see your point slap if you use signals, personally id rather have two hands on the bars in traffic:) and a tip from uncle al, never insist on your right of way with a 3000 pound vehicle.

throttle is on the left because with the rear brake AND the rear shifter your thumb couldn't reach the throttle. having it on the left is completely natural. also without wanting to start a huge debate, torque sensors deliver power when, where and how much a firmware engineer sitting at a desk...

I think with a 50 llb bike, a trailer, a dog and a hill, any meaningful gearing changes would pretty much render the rest of the gears useless everywhere else. Using the pas levels as gears is the best way to go. if you get the step thru, you won't have to stress out the trailer hitch when...

i think the turris or the new lmt'd v2 are good bikes, I towed my friend up a 800 ft mountain behind my lmt'd v1 a couple of weeks ago. the turris has a goofy over the bar shifter, 7 speeds instead of 8 and cadence vs torque (i believe). My v1 has the akm motor, which i find awesome.

on my brakes (lmt'd) there is a little screw that can adjust the lever "reach" a tad

seems to me, you wouldn't need to remove the pads for that to happen. doesn't the piston self adjust?

Holy crikey, so those two holes in the back of the stem are for set screws, and the two spacer rotates with the bars?
