    Rear Rack Bag?

I call it frugal when someone wants to save a few Bucks. In the old Country some Kids learn from there Parents, "The Rich know how to be frugal". My eBike needed Baskets. A couple unused Freezer Baskets got spray-painted Black then ziptied to the front and rear Rack. Light, strong and looking...

Advice for older man wanting to get back on the trails

While larger Wheel Rim sizes are more comfortable to ride, the smaller ones put less stress on the plastic planetary Gears common in eBike Motors. In the old days Steam Locomotives pulling heavy loads had the small wheels, Passenger Train Locomotives had really large Wheels build for speed. Cheers

    GPS vs Maps

GPS is nice but not 100% trustworthy. Maps don't need electricity and in an emergency one can start a Fire with it IF one has a Lighter or Matches along. I use my eBike as a fun activity. When on my eBike I pretty well always know from experience where I am and what Compass direction I am...

I never agreed with Peta until today.

I am a Canadian and luckily have a Family Doctor, many Canadians have not.\ and have to go to walk in Clinics. The other Day I was at the Doctors Office for a checkup. Tis better to have mirrors than not.

On the other hand we all have seen Bicycle Riders which don't play by the Rules and could not care less so it goes both ways. Many Cars/Trucks have now Dashcam Cameras which could give the Lawyer of the Motor vehicle the Ammo he needs to prove his Clients innocence. Courtesy can go a long way ...

Tis better to have mirrors than not.

If I am biking in a lot of aggressive Traffic I attach a visible rear facing Camera to the Bike. This seems to improve curtesy by Automobile and PU Truck Drivers considerable. Once the see the Camera the seem to realize there behavior and License Plate is already recorded. Cheers

Should I Buy A Pedal Wrench?

Sized up Bolts and such can be made to release by putting some Heat to it. An ordinary Propane Torch will do, the heat from a cutting Torch works much faster. Cheers

Correct spoke tension, 2019 Rad Rover rear wheel?

I just received a Spoke tension Tool. Unfortunately it wont work on my eBike because the Pins are to far apart (or the available space on the Spokes on my eBike) is to short. Any suggestions by the Experts other then going by sound. Cheers

Tis better to have mirrors than not.

Before I turned 20 I was very accident prone, what a nightmare for my poor Parents. Since then I gradually became more and more Safety conscious. 50+ years later I still carry a valid CDL and Weekly drive a 18Wheeler to support my Hobbies. I am in the habit of constantly checking my Mirrors. One...

Ebike recommendation for Victoria, BC Commute

I did the Lochside Trail from Downtown Vic to Sidney as well as the Galloping Goose Trail almost all the way out to Sooke and back numerous times in 23. No problem as my Bike (750 W) has 2 Batteries which move my 210 carcass easily. My Bike is a Fucare Gemini X which is reasonable priced and...
