Could you use the old hoses by disconnecting from lever and caliper or did you replace hoses as well?

All devices have an accuracy and a dead band to stabilize action. 10 mph may be too low a speed for the controller. Have you tried a higher speed like 15 mph?

I had initially bought the Altus but the orientation of the barrel adjuster was different compared to the Twoo. Would have required that I replace the entire length of cable housing. The Alivio had the same orientation.

Juiced has an offroad upgrade kit for the RCS 1000w model.

I changed out the rear derailleur and shifter for a Shimano Alivio. My bike was purchased in January 2023. I don't know if current shipping models are the same component items.

I think there may be some confusion on the reviewer's part relative to closeout. According to the JB website the clear aluminum finish bike is being discontinued and on closeout. The black and red are still listed as current.
