    ZEHUS ALL-IN-ONE MOTOR DB-E

That would be a good option. There seems to be some major changes going on with the ownership and/or financial backing with Detroit Bikes right now so hopefully they get things worked out and offer more choices. Their B-Type models are step thru and made on USA made steel frames but they aren't...

    ZEHUS ALL-IN-ONE MOTOR DB-E

You make a good point about needing possible repairs to the all in one. Furthermore, there are likely limited options to get repairs by qualified technicians, at least in the USA. Might have to send it to Italy where it's made, I don't know, but certainly worth considering. The regen works by...

    Evelo, Gazelle, or Priority

First off, let me say I'm sorry you had a broken leg. I know from experience it's no fun! Hope your recovery is going well. I looked up the Biktrix Jugg you got and see why you say it's a monster on gravel and rough roads. Hope you get more time to enjoy it this summer. The Priority does...

    ZEHUS ALL-IN-ONE MOTOR DB-E

Detroit Bikes - Electric, aka DB-E, is a new e-bike with the Zehus All-In-One, ie; motor, battery, charger and sensors with bluetooth to connect with a phone app or remote controller. Looks like a great concept and a cool bike made in Detroit. They don't include a great deal of info about the...

    Kiox milage indicator not accurate

At least now you know, albeit 30 bucks off. The closest bikes shops to me refused to even look at any bike they didn't sell so in addition to a shop charge it takes more than two hours for me to drive to a friendly bike shop and back - haven't even considered riding my bike there. Hopefully...

    Kiox milage indicator not accurate

I checked after you mentioned it and I thought it was aligned properly. This morning I learned there is a + plus mark/cross to center it on and I hadn't seem that before.

    Kiox milage indicator not accurate

Last night while on a short ride the speedometer started to jump around like crazy. I sent an email to Ravi at Zen E-bikes last night at 11:45 and WOW! he responded right away, 1:46 AM his time. He let me know they would figured it out and get back to me. Super customer service. This morning...

    Kiox milage indicator not accurate

Thanks, good point. I have a Zen Samurai and I'm about to install a front mud guard and a front rack so I'll check the magnet while I'm at it. Zen called me this morning about something and I did mention the Kiox milage discrepancy. We'll see if they get back to me about it.

    Kiox milage indicator not accurate

Thanks for the input. The speed doesn’t jump around, it does change in 1/10 increments quite a bit, but doesn’t seem erratic. I don’t know how I would gage how accurate it is unless I find someone else to compare with or maybe I can get a speedometer app on my phone?

    Kiox milage indicator not accurate

Anyone know if the distance traveled indicator on the Kiox is just an estimate? If it's not accurate does that mean all of the indicators or measurements are not very precise? Maybe someone else has experienced this also. I didn't find anything searching the forum threads. The milage reading...

    Zen Samurai

Another thing I just thought to mention, I was under the impression the side tow arm/rear dropout attachment wasn't compatible with an e-bike. My LBS guy did give me a business card for a person at Burley for me to ask questions of, but I didn't ever do it since the size trailer, from Burley...

    Zen Samurai

in Interesting point, thanks for letting me know. I'll keep it in mind and do some experimenting to try and be prepared for when the inevitable happens. I did have to make an emergency stop already when my dog started to climb out. I was going slow but I tipped over because I was looking back...

    Zen Samurai

That's good advice, thank you. I have been paying attention to the attachment points. I've checked all the nuts and bolts on the bike and trailer and did so closely after the spill. All seems good so far. I actually ordered a torque wrench this morning, it can't hurt to have one. Plus, I've...

Priority Current — Enviolo vs Shimano

Great. Have fun. A test ride is a good idea. I can't imagine the Enviolo hub and belt drive work much differently on different bikes. IDK Do you know about getting a Priority Current at Costco Next? Very good value and I just checked they have the Shimano and the Enviolo in both colors and...

    Zen Samurai

That green is beautiful. Hope the Shakti works out well for your wife. Be sure and share photos when you get the bike. It's so cool that Zen offers custom colors and custom bikes - built to order in Canada. On the US website they don't offer the Shakti - only Samurai and Saral.

Priority Current — Enviolo vs Shimano

RetiredKevin - did you decide and make a choice? I hope you found a bike you like! A little late chiming in but I was unsure about the exact same choice. I was seriously considering the Priority Current with the Shimano because that was the only choice at Costco Next, at the time. But I...
