    "eBike Sensor Battery Critical"

I am still having some issues and I have been trying to research. Could you tell me what you mean by “Ride without a magnet on the back and you will very soon see what I mean!!!”?

Battery range, understanding the “tuning” parameters.

You guys are truly experts and I find this conversation very educational and downright interesting, I have learned a ton! I have had my Creo for a little less than one year and can’t tell you how much I enjoy riding it! Since I am relatively new to the Ebike, I was naturally curious about the...

    Battery charging and use question

I have a Creo and also have the range extender. I am planning several back to back days of long rides (destination ride) and will be taking my charger. I will be stopping for lunch (30-45 min) and plan on charging my bike. I have ordered the Y-Charging cord but I am not confident it will...

Battery range, understanding the “tuning” parameters.

Totally agree, I didn’t mean to suggest I produce 240watts over such a long ride. On a good ride, 2 hours long, I may average 180 watts, but most times around 160-170.

Battery range, understanding the “tuning” parameters.

Thanks Stefan, I didn’t realize the support value was discounted from the full value. That makes more sense with my real experiences in battery range. I feel I can achieve a longer trip than 78 miles on the 35% Eco setting and the discounted factor will push it further than the 78 miles...

Battery range, understanding the “tuning” parameters.

I have a Creo and the motor is rated for a maximum output of 240 watts, while the battery is rated at approximately 330 watt-hours. I was trying to make sense of the tuning parameters (Eco/Sport/Turbo and the associated values) as described within the Specialized literature and how the various...

Specialized Creo (all models) - Longest Rides/Biggest Climbs

In general, I get appromately 1.15 miles for every 1% of battery when using the factory setting for Eco (35/35). I am about 190 lbs. Most of my rides follow this rate, the latest yesterday, was 34 miles with 1700’ of gain, averaging 19 mph. My terrain is not exactly flat but we do not have...

    "eBike Sensor Battery Critical"

Thanks, I will check the seals on the RE cable. Hoping that is the issue. Just seemed strange that it occurred the same day that it was updated. Maybe just coincidence. Thanks again.

    "eBike Sensor Battery Critical"

Thanks. I don’t have the digital screen, but when the shop hooked my bike to the diagnostic tool, they did see the “error code” which showed on the Garmin. The error code or message on the Garmin was “Ebike sensor battery critical”. This led them to replace the motor. Two weeks later, same...

    "eBike Sensor Battery Critical"

New to the forum. I had the same message appear on my Garmin head unit. Eventually the bike shop, after conferring with Specialized determined a motor replacement was necessary. Motor was replaced. One week later the same message appeared. Awaiting guidance from the bike shop and...
