I have a 2022 Creo 1 with mastermind. If it has walk mode, I have yet to discover it. I'm pretty sure Amoto is right: Walk mode is within the scope of mastermind but it is not implemented on the Creo.

Hmm. I have a Creo 1 with mastermind display. Firmware was supposedly updated by a shop in February to whatever was the latest for motor, battery, and display. However in the Specialized app I can find nothing to say what version #s I have, nor can I find any release notes. I have not...

... and so is a fix for 80% charging stuck at 100% (or so says customer support), but I'm not holding my breath. IMO Specialized gets that they need to to hardware development really well, but they don't quite get that software is an integral part of an ebike, and it has to be just as good.

I like Specialized bikes but I've been very underwhelmed by their firmware and documentation. Thankfully, they do the basic motor integration well. But IME features come out slowly and fitfully while documentation is all over the place. I get the feeling their bike designers are their A team...

I have connected my bike to the Specialized app. Rider care did some back and forth with me, and I appreciate their persistence. The gist of the final message was "The app team saw the issue on the back end and was able to fix it." That doesn't tell me much, but at least everything works now...

See #1 in my first post. I can tell my phone to unpair. Then when I start the Specialized app I don't always get the same behavior, but usually it pairs again, however the Specialized app does not show it as connected. Seems like the bike assumes it is pairing to MC. It is still a mystery to...

I really only need the app to set options (assist levels and display screens) and to do firmware updates. At least the point where I am stuck leaves me with the options where I had set them. I like my Wahoo for recording rides.

Stefan, following your steps gets me to "Your bike is connected to the Mission Control app. Please disconnect it from Mission Control, then try again." Since I don't have Mission Control anymore, that's a dead end, unfortunately. Amoto65, this is a Creo 1 from 2022, so it has the mastermind...

In the bug referred to in post #1, speed and distance would be doubled, at least approximately. Your issue looks like something different. :( I dare say you will get lots of suggestions here as to what you can do, because of course everything is easy for the person who doesn't have to do it...

No worries, mfgrep. Glad to know that when it works, it works the way I expected. I finally bit the bullet and chatted with Specialized tech support. The gist of it was, "The app team is aware of this and will have a fix on next release. There's no date for that. Sorry."

Um, I think charging to 100% on cycle 10, 20, etc. is how it's designed: calibrate on every 10th cycle. So you do get one charge to 100% and then back to 80%? I've tried various things, deleting apps included, to no success. As you can see from this thread there are many of us who are stuck...

Nothing against 100% charge and using it to make life better. Specialized documentation says the 80% feature will switch to 100% after 9 charge cycles in order to calibrate. But it implies only one 100% charge is needed, and then the bike will revert to 80%. If that's not true they should...
