    Hey - this is an issue I've seen in other ebikes too, notably the Lectric XP Lite and the new REI Generation e bikes. With those bikes, the madman pedaling kicks in around 12-13 mph rather than 25. Are you able to pretty comfortably do 20 mph without pedaling like a hamster on a wheel?

    Exactly, that's the behavior I find annoying.II'd prefer to still be able to feel some resistance in the pedals at higher speeds so that it's not just a 13 mph moped. But the gearing isn't right for that and unfortunately is difficult to fix via freewheel (but maybe chainring?)
