Thanks - but Walmart is a 20+hr flight ;) The current gloves do help, and after moving the brake and gear levers it's a bit more comfortable.... there are plenty of gel padded gloves here, surely can only improve on what I got :)

For anyone interested, I ended up getting a Giant Talon E+1 (with a padded seat:) So far I haven't used it too much - regularly dropping off and picking up child from school (get a bungee cord for the uphill!) Been to the local mountain bike park twice now and it's been cool to see myself up...

:D Never considered a conversion - is that something achievable by someone not at all familiar with EV bikes, or best to pay for shop to install? (assume this would be a conversion!)

Have had a quick look but can't really find something as direct as this :) I'm 'not a small' person and like the idea of an e-bike to help get around, reduce reliance on cars (petrol) etc etc. It's not something I want to throw a tonne of money at but if I end up enjoying it then would...
