Glad to hear you're up and running. sounds like the kit is working fine. I'm still running my kit as well, over 6 yrs now. everything is still working. All the crap I heard about battery maintenance seems to be a non-issue. So far, the key is charge to full before a ride and let it sit at...

    Confused About "Class 1 Legality"

JR is correct, YCP has not banned Ebikes. ironically it is PA motor vehicle code which defines them as pedalcycles. Can YCP separate traditional bikes from ebikes for regulation when state definations classify them as the same??? That is the $100 question.

Kathik, please, get over your guilt! Freedom is NOT free, the tyranny of the park leadership is at hand. Help us demand that they abide by the current legal definations in the PA vehicle code regarding pedalcycles or produce whatever regulations are to the contrary. Thus far they have produced...

Mr Senior e-biker, no ranger has approached me yet but I am salivating at the chance. Should this happen again, ask the ranger which park regulation(s) specifically are you in violation of. I'd love to hear the answer to that question! Also, in Pennsylvania, class 1-2-3 means nothing and has...

The meeting went as well as could be expected. The one point I was trying to get across, I don't think quite sank in yet. The Pa State Legislature has already settled this debate. In 2014, it amended the State Motor Vehicle Code to definitively define ebikes with regard to licensing and...
