Power hub to power multiple devices

I’m thinking about this now. I’ll get a 48v to 12v step down with 30a and then connect this. Then add any 12v accessories (up to 4) as I need them. There’s many 12v accessories out there and I won’t have to faff around with the volatage. Here’s the link...

Power hub to power multiple devices

oh yes, I have a few converters like this but wanted one device to run 3 devices from just the one unit rather than have 3 step down converters connected to the battery going to different places. My controller have an input for a tracker and usb charger but unsure how much power I can draw from...

Power hub to power multiple devices

Hello all. I recently discovered a product called the Thunderbox which allows you to power multiple devices but this is for 12v motorbike. I was wondering if there’s an equivalent for e-bikes? Or can I use a XT60 splitter to power my devices like extra lights, cameras and usb chargers.

Ideas needed: Mount downtube battery with a twist

True what you say. My main worry was that the plastic (abs?) would panels are not strong enough from the load of the battery.l, with this worry I started this thread. For sure I will see how it goes, I want thinking about the idea you mentioned where I trim the panel to surround the battery but...

Ideas needed: Mount downtube battery with a twist

I like your thinking! The battery only wobble if I apply pressure but yes, my main fear is breaking the plastic. I do have some some thin foam type of material that can possibly place there but the tape you mention will looker cleaner, thanks for the idea!

Ideas needed: Mount downtube battery with a twist

Thank you all for the input. I managed to install but just clamped it on the panels. Looks sturdy so far so hoping the battery stays put! Had to buy DIY hose clamps as the ones I had were too short. What do you think? Any tips how to maintain this. Just worried about the rain when the battery...

Ideas needed: Mount downtube battery with a twist

The thing is (might not have been clear in the OP) the plastic panel fits over the downtube. Preferably I want to fit the bottle bob on top of this, maybe drill some holes though the panel to the downtube then attach some bolts through all this. My issue I think will be it might not be sturdy...

Ideas needed: Mount downtube battery with a twist

Thank you for the suggestion! I've used something like this before but used it to mount to the rear rack, very handy. My issue would be would the plastic panels be strong enough for the hose clamps as they won't be directly placed on the downtube, definitely worth a try though!

eBay to ban private e-bike sales over fire fears

Just saw this article in the news, this is eBay UK only I think: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c5ywq8xgkkyo Might be a good thing but will hurt those trying to sell their branded ebikes?

Ideas needed: Mount downtube battery with a twist

Hello all, I got myself an Eskuta SX-250 and want to add an extra battery to increase range. I had an idea to use a read rack battery but they're out of stock at my usual vendor so was thinking about other ways. The Eskuta downtube is covered by a plastic panel, see image circled in red...

Use rear rack battery with just the holding plate?

Hello all, I just got myself a new ebike and it has a rack already installed. I want to use a rear rack battery but do not want to use the included rack (which has two tiers). Do you think I'll be ok just installing the mounting plate to my rack? Can't see why not, the included rack does have...
