I agree the stock Vado 4.0 saddle is a bit harsh and unforgiving. So I bought a Specialized Body Geometry Comfort Gel saddle for $50. Huge improvement. Strongly recommended.

I’m loving my Specialized “Bennies” pedals thanks to advice from Bryan at the EBike store in North Portland and many EBR posters who also noted big improvement. At $80, a pretty good value.

I bought one Tailwinds pannier for my Vado 4.0 SL EQ and it works great. Easy on, easy off, looks good, plenty of storage and aerodynamic — according to that famous Specialized research wind tunnel.
