Guys who ride step through bikes...

Many people are slightly Insulted by the nomenclature on the side of my top case bag, sometimes I don't think these Chinese manufacturers know what might be insulting in other societies. I found a car badge made of thin aluminum with stars and stripes on it and I used some vehicle emblem glue to...

    Maintenance stand quandary...

I'm jealous, Carlsbad is the bomb, beautiful town. My brother lives up the road in San Clemente. I'm stuck here in the inland Empire so wherever you live, it's way better near the ocean. Have some fun on your eBike!

    Maintenance stand quandary...

A Vespa scooter tire is about 14 inches across with maybe a 10 inch or 12 inch rim size. All you need is the tire I know property in Carlsbad is small. I sold property in that town and recently in La Jolla there's not much room for anything in California property, a Vespa scooter tire can easily...

    Maintenance stand quandary...

Looks like you're down towards Carlsbad if you ever get down to San Diego there's a place called motorsports scooters they're right off the five. I bet you they would have a pile of old scooter tires back there they work perfectly for 26 inch fat tire Bikes.

    Maintenance stand quandary...

I have been contemplating getting a bike maintenance stand for my ebike , besides the cost how do you actually raise up an 85 pound bike so you can do maintenance? Well I went to Harbor freight tools and bought me a ratcheting tiedown 500 pound weight limit, then I got out some jackstands that I...

    Best ebike repair stand

I went to Harbor freight tools yesterday, I bought a 12 foot ratcheting tiedown that holds up to 500 pounds. I hung it from the bracket of my garage door opener. This bracket is bolted to the beam of the garage, I then took the rubber coated hook that is closest to the ratchet assembly and...

    Hi from SoCal 🙋‍♀️

Welcome fellow southern Californians! First of all yay go Dodgers! Anyways, it will be interesting to see what happens to juiced Bikes. Watch out for them to restart as a different company with the same exact bikes and parts. Any companies that go under resurface the very next day under a...

Pannier bag update, the ultimate hack!

Yeah, I felt that way too, kind of a "ghetto fix". But my thinking too is with these red nylon pedals I just switched out if they ever snap off on the road I have spare petals underneath the bag. The bag has a hard surface underneath it to protect it from deformation, plus it's one of those...

Pannier bag update, the ultimate hack!

My 9.5 litre top bag is nearly 8" wide, the space between the panniers is 5". I had to smash the top case between the panniers, the backing plates on the panniers were bending from the strain. Rather than getting a wider rear rack or a narrower topcase I fashioned a riser out of unused bike...

Found these used Panniers on eBay.

Used, a vintage set of panniers, they look like they've never been used. Took some effort to make them work with my top case but now I'm ready to go grocery shopping....

Southern California here! Hi from Rancho Cucamonga.

It's a taco shop, what you're describing sounds like something that should be on Food Network.

    shifter and derailer question here...

Thank you for the reply, but I was asking about the derailer as well, do you know if I have to change out the derailer when you change out the shifter? Thanks, David.

Southern California here! Hi from Rancho Cucamonga.

Taco shop is right on foothill Boulevard as you cross the bridge. See photo I always start my ride on the Etiwanda side near the old train depot. It's mostly flat, but I enjoy the ride and the tacos.🚲🌮🌮

    shifter and derailer question here...

I have this "radius" shifter that came with my ebike that I'm not really liking, is it required that I change out the derailer when I change out the shifter to the Shimano style shifter that I'm used to? TIA

Southern California here! Hi from Rancho Cucamonga.

Bedankt voor de ontvangst vanuit het mooie Nederland. Mijn voormalige werkgever maakte veel fietstochten door Nederland. Ik wou dat ik er zelf ook naartoe kon gaan.

Southern California here! Hi from Rancho Cucamonga.

I think this is my first post, I signed up a while back but never did anything, there's been a lot of changes going on in my ebike journey. Initially went for a full suspension fat tire to a hard tail fat tire and now finally I think I'm dialed in with a step through fat tire. It's a newer brand...
