Does anyone know if it's possible to swap out the King Meter T320 LCD with an LED display? If so, which one(s) are compatible? I'm only interested in getting more speed/distance/battery information, not in tweaking any settings. Also, would it be as simple as swapping devices?

I'm like you. Never ridden, looking to buy. Right now I'm digging the e-Joe Epik SE. The 2017 version has a big battery, it's got good reviews, hidden battery, quality parts, reasonably priced.

Electric Bike Attack in Venice has a pretty good selection and a knowledgable staff. And it's right across the street from iZip and down the street from another ebike shop. Santa Monica has a handful, too. You could hit a lot of shops in an afternoon.
