Did you add links to go from 40T to 46T? if so, the increase to 48T may work without additional links.

I have a 48T and it just fits. Chain requires a couple of links. I think 50T would be too big.

Turns out the dropper cable was pinched by the metal wire cover in the battery housing not by the motor. 10 minute fix. Good Luck
