Tire options for RadMini? Rack options?

Although there has been a little discussion about tires for the RadMini I would like to know what width tires under 4 inches would work on the Mini using the original rims. Would any 3 inch or 3 1/2 width tires fit on the bike? It appears the original tires are not the most puncture...

    52v battery?

Thanks for clearing that up for me. The placement of the Rad Mini battery would allow for a taller battery if one were made. The Blix Vika+ (among others) from Sweden puts the battery in the same location as the Mini but the Blix lets you tilt the seat up to remove the battery easily.

    52v battery?

I am new to the ebike world, so just to clarify, are you saying that if I bought the 13.5 ah panasonic battery from Lunacycle, I could slide it into the RadMini and it would connect to the 2 posts on the bike. I am confused because the batteries are not the same shape. The Rad bike battery has...

    52v battery?

How do you hook up the battery (wiring, etc) to the bike? I assume it does not fit in the same slot as the original battery.

    Any RadMini people out there

I rode the RadMini some today. The front brake did not sound right (like the disk was warped) so I decided to have the local bike shop (Ray's Bikes) to check out things and everything is OK (just needed a bit of adjustment). I do feel like the high gear should be higher and the low gear lower...

    Any RadMini people out there

I would also like to get your and other peoples impressions of the bike. I am no bike expert but the Mini really feels like a winner. I would love to be the one promoting the bike at one of the electric bike shows like they had recently in Palo Alto, CA. I think potential buyers would be...

    Any RadMini people out there

I just got my RadMini today and took it out for a short spin at my local park. It feels really nice and climbs hills a lot better than my E-Joe Epik SE. The knobby tires make the ride a bit noisy but no big deal. I usually would prefer a light colored bike for visibility but I choose the...

Wider range gearing on Eoe Epik Se

I just had the local bike shop install the 11-32t speed freewheel and I like it a lot more. The combination makes hill climbing and and flat land pedaling much more effective. The battery on mine is only 9 amp which is not long lasting enough for me. I would like to see a 17 amp option for...

Blix Vika+ Folding Ebike 2016 version

I looked at several ebikes and really enjoyed the easy going feel of the Vika+. As commented in the review I did notice a squeal from the front brakes when going downhill. I am no bike expert but I do wish they had put at least one disk brake on the bike. But I love that there are bigger...
