Review of Gazelle 380+ Mid step

Gazelle does not allow that from their dealers unless you were there in person first. That’s their rules for dealers.

Review of Gazelle 380+ Mid step

Gazelle does not ship bikes. They only sell through dealers and dealers are not allowed to just ship, have to be there in person for fitting trial etc. They want people to know bikes and be happy and are not just an internet startup company.

1000 Mile Owner’s Review: 4 Major Problems | Gazelle Ultimate C380 + Electric Bike (Pros and Cons)

If the belt skips you prob have not used app to tension it and its loose, if loose will skip under high torque like starting off.

Review of Gazelle 380+ Mid step

I don’t get any vibrations. Sometimes you barely feel as mid drive kicks in at first. I’d have them check belt drive tension or use gates app and check frequency. Mine stretched a bit at first and nothing last 300 miles. Make sure axle nuts tight as well

Review of Gazelle 380+ Mid step

Shimano nexus is geared, totally diff animal with totally diff attributes, won't shift at all under load one direction I think. Enviolo only tougher when under a lot of load so better to let up just a little when shifting uphill etc

Review of Gazelle 380+ Mid step

Yes, well known fact, stated in manuals. Better than 0 percent for a derailleur. With pedal assist there’s no way you really ever need all the way low gears, and as soon as pedal moves a little you can get full range

Review of Gazelle 380+ Mid step

You only get 50-60 percent of the shift range when stopped not full

Review of Gazelle 380+ Mid step

Make sure they set full overdrive before installing hub and .5-1.5mm of slack in cables. Look up park tool article. People Re suprisingly clueless about nuvinci hubs. Can take a bit of pressure to shif under load/torque

Review of Gazelle 380+ Mid step

No, they need to he sure the hub was set to highest gear(overdrive before cables being attached and need to have .5-1.5mm of play in cables. Print the pdf user guide and bring in cause almost no one knows that they are doing. That being said it is harder to tuen when under heavy torque. Orange...

    Specialized, Trek, or Gazelle

Owning a bike has nothing to do with any if that. I have half a million miles of motorcycle riding all over the world of experience which is like comparing an f1 driver to a vw golf as far as bikes go lol. Belt drive and internal hubs are where it is at. There is a reason citi bike in nyc is...

    Specialized, Trek, or Gazelle

Like what mileage I get in range? Depends on riding, pretty true to estimates online and very upright riding, and a lot more as I often turn off when on pathway with pedestrians or riding with wife who rides slow. Then I just pedal and turn back on for hills etc. In that case the range...

    Specialized, Trek, or Gazelle

Right and Wrong, we are talking class 3 here, the speed (non 20kph limited) ebike of year 2020 was gazelle c380 speed and 2021 is Gazelle No 1.

    Specialized, Trek, or Gazelle

First of all. You show no proof their frames are made in china, yet declare based in some copy you found saying brought to factory from googling that you know that-some credibility lol. They could be made in e Germany or Poland for all you know lol. Second of all he has plenty of bike shops...

    Specialized, Trek, or Gazelle

The steel and aluminum comes to the netherlands they weld them there etc, obvi they don’t smelt and forge their own frames lol. and my cousin works at the Gazelle factory and I am Dutch so do not lecture me on bikes and credibility. We ride bikes before we can walk practically. All the stuff...

Suntour makes fork, its a tapered tube, nuvinci hubs are zero to little maintenance, easy to replacec belt drive last you 20,000 miles, still just a sprocket and belt. I’m not sure what exotic gazelle part will need work that any shop can’t handle. Tension or replace a cable? I would never pay...

Gazelle C380 (20mph) or C380+ mid step or high step(28mph). Belt drive and enviolo plus 130 years of Dutch bike building and no made in china frames is a big plus for me. With belt drive and nuvinci hub you won’t need a bike shop. All these parts are made by shimano and bosch etc. It’s not like...
