Sondors Rockstar to Canada, Import Fees?

I believe the reason is the way they ship it, there is duty on complete bikes but being in the amount of pieces it comes in allows it to get by as just bike parts, which are mostly exempt. And the usual fees are part of the $299 shipping price. Anything American made still gets duty tacked on, I...

35 mile ride today, did a huge loop, 67% battery used. Climbed from the river valley in town to the top of coal mine hill, 1500’ elevation gain. The bike just doesn’t stop

We’ll just turned over 300 miles, been riding it about 6-7 weeks and it’s been very impressive, no issues what so ever. All mods were very easy to install and have worked out great, 36 tooth chainring was a little to low for my liking so switched to a 38 tooth.

    Sondors Rockstar Broken Fork

I find with the stock 44 tooth heavy chainring it is very top end heavy and sluggish down low, I went to a 36 tooth chainring with the chritini adapter and it made a huge difference on the bottom end. Way more pick up and 1 lb less rotating mass on the motor so that should prolong motor life...

    Sondors Rockstar Broken Fork

I already put a 170 mm Rockshox Yari RC Debonair on the bike so I guess I got a decent backup or I can just sell it as well. But yeah I figured that was a score 👍🏻

    Sondors Rockstar Broken Fork

They replaced my broken factory fork and the replacement was a Rockshox Judy front fork with lockout

So my rockstar had come with a broken fork from shipping and they finally got around to sending me a replacement fork. I had already purchased upgraded suspension so really didn’t need a replacement. It arrived this morning and to my surprise it was a Rockshox Judy front fork with lockout...

    Rockstar sizing question

Well I got 60 miles on mine now and at 5’7”, and 200lbs I find it very easy to ride, weight is only a factor when putting it in the box of my Ram 3500, while riding I do not notice the weight. Could be all the modifications aiding in its ride quality but all in all I’m happy with it. Like...

I’m going to a 36 tooth, have one at home already just waiting on my adapter to mount it up. I’m thinking it will only help it, it would be much less rotating mass so easier on the motor and gearing down will be ok as it’s already faster than I’ll need most of the time

No lyrik upgrade yet. I have the internals for the upgrade to make it like the lyrik but probably won’t use them, came free with the shock, was a clear out deal they had on, getting rid of all 2021 stock

I recommend the rockshox yari debonaire front fork, very smooth, just put 6 miles on it on some relatively frozen bumpy stretches and it soaked up everything quite nicely, can’t wait for the snow to melt to really test it out, it’s also a relatively cheap upgrade, took 20 mins to swap it out...

Says suntour right on it, either way both are junk

Ya I’m not sure how that happens, the little clip that the brake line runs through was broke off, the fork body cracked right through by where the screw goes through, I’m guessing a bad run of shocks from suntour, must be an issue with the casting process. Not sure what sondors will do, I’d...
