20"x3.00" road tire recommendation for XP 2.0?

I installed the Kenda Flame tires I bought from bicyclebuys.com. Free shipping (after adding a tool to meet the free shipping price) and I got the tires in 3 days. They had one of the best prices on the net, at $34.99 each. Seems to be a solid company, although there are mixed reviews on...

20"x3.00" road tire recommendation for XP 2.0?

Thanks for the suggestions. It looks like the Amazon Sunlite tire is the only game in town, at a reasonable price. It seems that 20x3.00 is hard to find in a non-knobby tire. Maybe if more Lectric 2.0 riders want to switch and there's more demand, more retailers will stock them.

20"x3.00" road tire recommendation for XP 2.0?

After having used only road tires on my prior e-bikes, and the fact that I never ride off-road, I'm thinking about replacing my XP tires to quiet the ride a bit. I'll keep the knobby tires as spares for my wife's 2.0 step-thru. Any recommendations, especially something I can get on Amazon...

Noise from rear hub when going 21mph+

I still haven't thoroughly tested the bike, but when I did test it I heard the noise, but not as bad. Could be something inherent in the motor when pushing it above 20mph. I can live with it as is, as long as it doesn't get worse. On the upside, I became proficient in taking off the rear...

Noise from rear hub when going 21mph+

I was fortunate in that I was able to swap wheels with my wife's step-thru. I still haven't totally tested it, but so far it appears the noise is gone on my bike and still there, but less noticeable, on my wife's bike. Definitely got me scratching my head. Since my wife will never go above...

    mirrors for lectic 2.0

I second Mirrcycle mirrors. They even survived a spill on my last ebike. Easy to adjust, even while riding. A very solid product. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009R96YK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Noise from rear hub when going 21mph+

OK, easy enough. I'll give that a try. Thanks!

Noise from rear hub when going 21mph+

I elevated the bike so I could use the throttle and I didn't hear any noise, even at full throttle. I suppose it only appears when under load. I'm thinking it's coming from the hub motor. One way to solve this is to swap wheels with my wife's step-thru. She will never go over 20mph (probably...

Noise from rear hub when going 21mph+

That's a good idea. I might try that. That way I could really pinpoint where the noise is coming from. The thing is, when going downhill over 22mph and I let off the throttle the noise isn't there. BTW, I checked for loose bolts and everything is tight, so I double it's the fender or...

Noise from rear hub when going 21mph+

I have a step-thru 2.0 and an XP 2.0. On my XP when going approximately 21-22mph and over (although only goes to 24mph) I get a grinding sound coming from the rear hub. This is on a flat surface, with no headwind. I weight about 165 lbs. I made a video and posted it on YouTube. I sent the...

    handlebar replacements????

These did the job for me. I bought something similar for my wife's step-thru on Amazon, but they were out of stock when I wanted to buy for my XP. I found the same handlebar on eBay, but without a brand name on them. They're totally painted black. Seems to be the same as my wife's just...

XP 2.0: Is 4 Weeks Realistic?

I ordered a black XP July 7th. The website said ships in 5 weeks. Now they reduced that to 4 weeks on the website. I called them and they said it would ship late August, which would be about 7 weeks. The XP I ordered in April took about 12 weeks, so if I did get it in late August, or even...
