Well the bike shop is saying they didn't receive it so how could it be stolen from them, Fedex is saying they did which I tend to believe since they have a store employees name and signature as proof of delivery.

I'd rather just get my money back, move on and purchase a bike locally, although I'm still waiting on bikes to be available here which is why I looked at the USA in the first place. See how I feel after all this is done and dusted.

Struggling with this myself, I'll probably buy something that large bolt cutters can't cut through and insure the bike as if someone wants to take it they will. Tool of choice for thieves is a portable angle grinder, easier to conceal over bolt cutters and will cut through anything.

~$45 for a tube is that not expensive? I like the idea of it but don't think I've paid that for a tube ever.

DHL/Fedex/UPS all handle Li-ion batteries, shipping an entire bike from Lenny to AU for ~$550 USD so I'd hope the battery on it's own would be a little cheaper.

Yeah sounds great, a little plug on the light so I could remove it easily surely wouldn't have been too hard though ;) saves me having to try and replace it when it eventually will get stolen.
