    For fat tire bikers

Nice to see someplace specializing in it, and for their prices to not be out of the ordinary. Cheaper than the no-name e-fence seller I got my Wanda whitewalls from. I've been finding the "cheap" Wanda and Innova's (which a friend has on their Abound) seem to ride a lot smoother than the...

    Lights Save Lives

Over the past year I've developed a very bad astigmatism, and flashing lights at night are an absolute nightmare. Like you I've had to just stop and wait for them to be gone before continuing. Even rear blinking lights are hard to see anything near anymore.

Do You Wear a Wristwatch When You Ride?

It's funny in 50+ years I've never had a watch -- cheap, expensive, new, old, heirloom, "ultra durable" -- that I didn't manage to break within the first HOUR of wearing it. Hell, I've got a crack on the screen of my two week old Ulefone Power Armor 13... which is basically the Panasonic...

    E-Bikes On Legal, Paved Trails

This seems to be all I see 'round my parts. And in that way I suspect you are 100% right about region playing a significant part. THIS! The mental failing propaganda techniques like bandwagon exists to exploit... along with a healthy dose of cognitive dissonance. Actually comes close to the...

    E-Bikes On Legal, Paved Trails

Probably regionalism as I see them here on MUP as much as I do on roads. When I do see them on roads they're the same type of jackasses, just showing no respect for vehicles either and putting themselves -- and everyone else -- at risk. HELL YEAH I'm prejudiced towards them. Their behavior and...

Do you support the US federal E-BIKE act?

This. Because making it a tax credit only helps the wealthy who to be frank, would/should already be able to afford it.

    E-Bikes On Legal, Paved Trails

This has been my experience too. The die-hard "spandex" crowd are the ones who are painfully rude to pedestrians and the ones who ignore basic courtesy. The ones running around like they're in the Tour-de-France. You know... thinking on it they act towards pedestrians the way alt-right...

    Forum Features: Your Opinion Wanted!

I didn't notice when you did it, but thanks for killing off the illegible green for this far nicer blue. It's still borderline not passing WCAG AAA, but it passes AA which si good enough for most things.

Best Rock Ever? Nominations, No Air Supply!

WAIT! Are we really 14 pages deep, and no monster? Are we ready for the monster?

Best Rock Ever? Nominations, No Air Supply!

Sugarloaf comes close, I think they're a two hit wonder. "Don't call us" and "Green Eyed Lady" what I always find funny are one album wonders. Where every song on the album is a banger, and the entire rest of their discography is trash. Boston comes to mind for that.

Best Rock Ever? Nominations, No Air Supply!

Aka stuff I have no ear for. I'm the same way with the Hollies. I cannot stand 90%+ of their music, but they really knocked it out of the park with "Tall Cool Woman" -- which laughably most people seem to think is CCR. It isn't.

Best Rock Ever? Nominations, No Air Supply!

That tends to happen whenever Les Claypool gets involved.

Best Rock Ever? Nominations, No Air Supply!

But remember, prog rock and metal is all about screaming and banging on your instruments as hard as possible.

Best Rock Ever? Nominations, No Air Supply!

Wait? No air supply? No water supply. No food supply. No power supply, no compromise, swallow the lies, 'cause EVERYBODY DIES!!! If you follow metal at all -- Kamelot, Blind Guardian, The Gathering, Nightwish, Toehider, Pain of Salvation, Beautiful Sin -- you realize how that much talent on...

PAS drops out when I hit a sharp bump...

I wonder if that's related to the sloppy weak spring loaded nib used to hold the battery in, and the plague of people just having the battery fall out the side. Been wondering if they fixed that on the Aventure 2, and if the Abound is similarly screwed up since it seems to use the same battery...

Did a tire swap, and the brakes flaked out.

Perhaps, but it sucks when you basically have to travel to another state to find one, since the three in a 40 mile radius in-state all inhale upon the proverbial equine of short stature. I'm stuck either going to Vermont, Taxachusetts, or travelling to the Manchester/Concord area. I hear...

Did a tire swap, and the brakes flaked out.

As others have said it SOUNDS like air in the lines, but if a simple bleed -- and I'm sure you looked up "tektro brake bleed" on Twitter -- isn't getting the job done, it's possible the calipers are screwed up. One of my zoom calipers is total junk -- the one that came with the bike -- because...

Is there a frame measurement distance on Aventure2 Regular vs. Large or is it just a longer seat post

Standover height is not the seat. It's the height of the top tube. The distance you can stand over the bike WITHOUT sitting on the seat. It's literally the name! Thus if the standover height is 2" shorter, the FRAME is 2" shorter, not the seat-post or post-tube. I'm oft shocked how many people...

Encinitas City Council declares emergency for e-bikes, bicycles

You might want to work on your comprehension as... How do you know for the area they're talking about there was no increase, decrease, etm? If you don't know out of how many e-bikers there are on the road over the time of comparison, you CANNOT determine that! The number of accidents to number...
