Help...Deciding on which dongle to buy..

No issues with dongle fitted. if you're nervous just take it off when you take it to retailer for service, but they won't even open the motor case anyway.

Upgrading from Intuvia to Nyon - Bosch

Don't bother. I did just this and used very few of the extra functions. I sent it back to Bosch for a white screen of death repair and later it fell off bike, as not good for mtbing. I now have the puion and Garmin 820 and couldn't be happier.

Xduro FullSeven 7.0 vs. Xduro AllMtn 7.0 vs. Sduro AllMtn 6.5- which one - any advice?

Not that much difference for general xc / allmtn riding. I'g honestly chose the cheaper one or the colour scheme you prefer. I went for the allmtn rx last year over pro as couldn't justify difference in price and preferred shimano xt. Saying that i changed the colour of mine as well.

    Dongling

Been away for a while. The bike speed rs works well, no issues to date. I've settled for the haibike 20t on front ring which allows me enough gearing to climb and enough to hit 40mph on flat but only managed this twice for a few seconds. I can cruise at 30mph on turbo, but i generally ride at...

    Dongling

Oh, meant to say, i mentioned in another thread when i fitted rs i decided to add a bit of hot glue to seal main cable out of box and wrap box in electrical tape. 1'm not sure it's necessary, but i'm a bit anal. I've tested this dongle and managed 40mph on flat with 20t front chainring. Funny...

    ebike Speed Unlock - free

I bought my bike speed rs from Germany. Impressed with quality and connections. I did use a heat glue gun to seal the main lead into box, and wrapped box with electric tape to give it a bit more weather proofing, bearing in mind i'm just outside of London, UK. This dongle works well. I've...

SDURO ALLMTN PLUS - Fantastic !!!

I agree. I still put myself under pressure on hills / out of saddle. I can get the same amount of exercise, just faster, more distance and fun :). I first got into e-bikes when in the alps in France and Switzerland they seemed really popular in hire shops. Times are changing and even my local...

    Haibke front sprocket

Bwizz, Eddie gave a lot of good information. The only thing i would comment on is that i have changed my Haibike original sprocket / chainring (with guard), to an original Haibike 18t and now a 20t. I found the flat chainrings (like connex) ran too close to motor casing and ended up cracking...

Does the Haibikes have Walk Assist activated?

I had the Nyon then changed for the Purion, both with walk assist working. In my mind, it's purely a software / firmware change. I'm sure a US dealer can do this using the Bosch diagnostic tool. i find some retailers very helpful and others not so in UK. I think this is the same the world over.

SDURO ALLMTN PLUS - Fantastic !!!

Have you converted any of your friends to e-mtb's?.

Does the Haibikes have Walk Assist activated?

Bob, I'm surprised to hear that it isn't automatically activated, as in UK. I would get your dealer to do so via Bosch firmware. I never use the walk button (as a walk button), only to activate the speed dongle. Regards Steve

    Dongling

Fitz, My experience with ebiketuning wasn't great. They replied to my query with a one liner in poor English. I've since heard there customer service isn't great if you have problems, so this put me off. Also, ASA didn't appeal as I think you would have to use heat shrink to ensure it was water...

It's a haibike xduro allmtn 2016. If i were to buy a dongle now it would be the bikespeed rs!

Santa will arrive tomorrow for me: XDURO AllMtn 7.0!

Lovely bike. The rack you bought is a bargain. I have the Thule version and it cost about £150 in UK (200 dollars). Enjoy the bike!
