    Chainline

A derailleur would be great, a 40t and a 48t on the front

    Chainline

I've put a second chainring on the inside of the spyder on my FS Ultra. This vastly improves the chainline when in the lowest gear, almost perfect alignment in 1st and dead straight when in 2nd. I 'shift' the chain to the inside ring when riding in the woods. The outer ring is the stock 44t...

Anybody swap out their chainring for a smaller one for better climbing?

    Inefficient

I am appalled by the inefficiency of my ebike. The thrift shop is a 6 mile round trip errand. It has taken me 36 miles to do that errand, not to mention wasting almost the entire day. And draining the battery too!

    Chain and cassette life?

Oh yeah, when you get a new chain checker make sure and see what it indicates on a new chain after putting 20 or so miles on it. My parks cc-2 will read 50% on a new chain.

    Chain and cassette life?

Chainline! 2 chainrings will provide for a much staighter chainline. Inner ring for the lower 3/4 of the gears, outer ring for the higher 3/4 of the gears. This is most helpful for mid drives but is also true for all bikes. The trouble with having a single chainring and a wide cassette or...

Having to do With Court's New Review of the Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra FS

I have a hunch the reason Biktrix had an Ultra FS in medium available a few weeks ago was because of Courts reviewing. Thanks Court. I do feel that someone reviewing a bike has the responsibility of learning how to operate it properly. If you don't know how to ride it you have no business...

    Ahoy

Southern Vermont. I have ridden in Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania for many years at a mtb campout. It's a bit rocky there.

    Ahoy

Ahoy emates. Retired now, I really mean it this time. I've taken up emtb full time. Even riding in winter on my fat tire hubber. Just got a Biktrix Ultra FS. The suspension on this rig is perfect for trail riding. Inverted fork remains active even under very heavy braking. I've got 2 fat...

Having to do With Court's New Review of the Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra FS

All I'm pointing to is that every frame flexes. So what.

Having to do With Court's New Review of the Biktrix Juggernaut Ultra FS

Hi folks, this flex is being observed with the wheels off the ground, no rider on a repair stand. With the wheels on the ground, the weight of the rider, the pedaling action and motor torque there will be all sorts of small frame deflections occurring. The side to side force of peddling alone...
