Well, I'm happy to report that to my surprise, after my last email asking for an update, they labeled the bike on 8/5 and Fedex picked it up on 8/6! I should hopefully get it by Friday and I didn't pay the extra $150.
It said 6 weeks when I ordered in May and 10 weeks later all I've received is the comfort package, so yeah....NO, "realistic" is NOT a word I would to describe that :rolleyes:.
I ordered on 5/27, order #764** and I received the comfort package yesterday. The chart they emailed showed that the bike should have shipped by 8/1 so I emailed for another update. At this rate, I'll be lucky if mine even ships in August, based on your delivery date.
I ordered mine at the end of May and the estimate at time of purchase was 6 weeks, which was last week. Based on the new chart, it should hopefully ship within the next 2 weeks so I think I can wait.
Thanks! Well, I guess I can thank my 3 decades of subway commuting for my strong immune system 🤣. I'm just tired of the urine/feces odors on the trains and platforms.
I'm new to ebikes but finally made up my mind and preordered a Lectric XP 2.0. I'm hoping to avoid the subway when I end up having to commute to my office again next month. Hopefully I'll have it by then...finger crossed 😅.
