    US ebike Company: Hi-Power Cycles

I bought a bike from HPC about a year ago and have put 1200 miles on it. Everything about my customer experience with them has been excellent, especially the awesome product which has worked flawlessly and exactly as advertised. This includes their installation of a torque sensing bottom...

Hi-Power Cycles Tour: HPC Revolution, Warp Drive & Elite Batteries

Please allow me to add my 2 cents here as well...I recently purchased a bike from HPC. It is essentially their Recon, which is built using the Montague Paratrooper folding frame, with the only difference being that I wanted pedal assist and they installed a Thun bottom bracket for me. To my...

You are almost into pedelec territory with your speed capability, but get all the other benefits of a...

I agree completely that the build quality on the Stromers is immediately apparent and very impressive. I mean, you can't possibly go wrong with one. That said, for some riders a throttle feature is important...particularly for cold starts from a stop. Some bikes obviously address this with a...

Pedego breaks new ground with its Ridge Rider

The Stromer ST1 has no throttle, no suspension, and is primarily a torque sensing motor if I'm not mistaken. The RidgeRider has a full throttle, throttle override, and gives you the choice of how power will be supplied via torque or cadence sensing depending on the ride feel you want. All in...
