If you want smaller jumps, then just try the Garburak cassette 10-46 or 10-42.

Wow, thanks tons for the info! Will "just" do the cut @ shifter & splice technique. Doesn't sound too difficult. Anyone have any tips for doing this successfully in addition to what's been written here?

Howzit, did you ever get the solution listed here to work? Just received my TCU adapter cable and trying to figure out if I should go all the way to the shifter or try it further downstream. Appreciate any feedback
