Thankds for all the comments - I used to ride a mountain bike and I know that the tyres hug the road. Recently I have been riding a Giant fast road bike - which flies - But I also suspect that you get more speed out of thinner tyres and more distance on an ebike - happy to be proven wrong. Cheers

Had the same problem - they sent me a plastic shim which I fitted but still had the problem so i ended up putting a piece of cardboard over the shim to kind of lodge the battery in. No more problems - its the gap at the top of the battery - it allows it to jump off the connectors I think.

I have exactly the same problem - it worked fine for a year but the last 2 rides it never came on and the main battery went dead on me typically on an incline- the extender battery shows full and I did press it on the ride to check it was fully loaded and I have never had to press it on start...
