    cost me £3, but still, its super-cheap. Buy 2, in case you break it whilst doing the bending - I wasn't sure if I might, so I got 2! FYI I used the same bolt as on the original guide, I should probably replace it with a countersunk head to get better fit on the face of the new mount.

    just tested again, with the chainring and chain on so that holds the ring completely still, back pedalling, the noise is continuous.
