    Good Stuff You Bought

Finally purchased a brand new modern Electric Unicycle after buying a 5 year old second hand one to learn on. All I can say is once you learn how to ride them it’s so much more fun than an ebike as it’s just like flying/floating but you do have everyone staring at you as it’s such a novel...

Garmin Varia on a helmet using Apple Watch app (ARadar).

I thought you could only use the Varia radar with either your phone or those old fashioned Garmin/Wahoo handlebar computers but I saw an app on the Apple Watch store that allows you to bypass those and solely use the watch. I was hoping someone had tried the app as I didn’t want to purchase it...

Garmin Varia on a helmet using Apple Watch app (ARadar).

Has anyone tried either mounting a Varia radar on a helmet or used the Apple Watch app Aradar that allows you to use the Varia on your watch? It would help free up my iPhone display when on my bike and be a great addition when riding my electric unicycle (highly recommend trying one as it’s so...

    MD 1000 Redux ...

This is the only problem I have found with a heavy ebike, none of the maps show trail information on whether there is a locked gate or a stile where you have to lift the bike over the obstacle to continue with the ride. I would have thought with many disabled riders or ones with trailers this...

    Front Fender Splash/Rock guard

Thank you for such an informative reply, it will help me atttach the front fender properly instead of the temporary zip ties I am now using. Attached are photos of the fenders on my bike. The rear fender is fine and covers a large area keeping mud of the rider. If it wasn’t for the inverted...

    Front Fender Splash/Rock guard

Can I ask how you attached the front fender at the top? As it’s an inverted fork I can only attach my new fender metal poles to the bottom but the fender still needs to be anchored at the top somehow as it wobbles like crazy. This seems impossible on an upside down fork as the fender will...

    Trust "The Science"

I took safe and effective Ivermectin and it worked for me and I have no qualms about using it in the future. There should also be a marketplace for unvaccinated blood as I know if I was ever in hospital I would pay whatever the cost for normal blood to keep my immune system working as nature...

    Beverages

Root beer is my favourite drink by a country mile. UK and European attempts at the drink are foul and I stick with USA imported drinks with Hanks Root Beer being my pick this month.

Generic MD 1000 and HD 750 ebike model discussion

Has anyone used any sealant on the removable plate on the bottom of the seatpost column as it doesn’t look very waterproof and rainy season starts soon? Also not sure whether to also cover up the large hole in the frame between the two batteries where the wires enter as I couldn’t see any run...

    XPremium tannus armour inserts

From what I gather there are two different compounds with the earlier version being inferior. Allegedly a tip is to not over inflate your tubes and deflate them regularly and let the Tannus armour regain its thickness otherwise it squashes down too thin and doesn’t prevent punctures. I don’t...

What size of rear axel is needed?

Sorry I can’t help. I did ask on the Robert Axel project and this is the replacement rear axle for the bike:- Rear Axle If you go on their website and live chat with them they are very helpful and will give you the correct axle information straight away.

Getting What You Need From a Cycling GPS

I wish there was a cycling navigation app that showed if the country trails in the UK had stiles, gates etc as it’s impossible with a heavy ebike lifting it over a stile. The amount of times I have had to backtrack as one side of the forest trail has a big gate but the exit has a stile.

No throttle and no way home today... :(

My eldest son loved my ebike so much he ordered a bafang kit for his bicycle. He put it straight on his bike and rushed over to my house and we went through all the countryside exploring trails we would never be able to on a regular bicycle. While at the top of the a hill 11 miles away his...

    Do I need cycling shoes?

Funnily enough I haven’t worn pants (underwear) since school over 30 years ago. Don’t even have any at home as they are pointless unless you somehow leak front or back.

    Do I need cycling shoes?

I did just over 20 today up and down hills on rough countryside paths and they were fine. And no socks either.
