    TransX BL17

I chickened out and just hooked up the + and - wires. No display on dash of battery fill. I guess I'll have to stop, push the battery indicator button, and look at how many LEDs are lit whenever I need to check it. However, (and I know this isn't supposed to be the case) my BIKE RIDES a few mph...

    TransX BL17

Ha! Yep, that's EXACTLY where I am right now: Do I hook these two smaller wires up to V-, and risk frying something...or let them hang. The only additional info I have is that, I put my voltmeter on the BL17, hit the power button, and measured the four connectors. There's v+, 54v-, then the two...

Current replacement battery option for a 2015 Dash.

I'm reviving this, just in case anybody has an answer to these questions yet. My guess is it's related to the display, and its ability to display battery voltage/bars. But I'd love to hear from somebody who knows for sure! Thanks.

    TransX BL17

Looks great, and much cheaper than the battery I just bought off Amazon. I paid $414, but maybe I paid for the LG cells I've supposedly got inside. So, can you tell me anything about the wires? I've just left it partway dis-assembled but stopped because the bike-to-TransX BL17 harness has what...

    TransX BL17

I've got the same bike, and like it a lot - even now in 2022 with much more modern bikes out there. It's still my in-town daily driver. But the battery on this is a PITA. Very few bikes seem to have ever used this format TransX BL17, and there are no new OEM replacements for sale anywhere. In...

Rad "Mini" step thru is 68 lbs ?

I've got one. It's definitely heavy. That is both a pro and a con. Pro: It's a freaking tank. It's a folding bike, but compared to my other folder, this one is rigid, strong, doesn't flex, and rides like a full size bike. It has amazing cargo capacity due to it's available thick, heavy racks...

    drag in dash rear wheel

Thanks. Good advice. I called Shawn. A very pleasant call, short IVR system, and short wait for Shawn. Then he seemed glad to help. Said the vibes were not normal, and if I'd like to take it into my dealer, they would arrange a rear-wheel swap-out and take the vibrating motor back. So far, good...

    drag in dash rear wheel

I'm on my 5th ebike (I still have all of them for family use) so I'm pretty sure the drag you experience when trying to spin the rear wheel in the air is normal. It is cogging, or a magnetic resistance inside the hub. Geared rear hub bikes, or center-motor ebikes do not have this, and freewheel...
