Yeah lost the base, so stuck with a battery. Was planning on 3d printing a new base, but the plug is a pain to waterproof. Might be getting a spot-welder, so could use that to extend the battery leads and solder to an XT90.

Hey! Got my ebike stolen, but have an extra battery. It has a 5 pin connector (rail), but that vanished with the bike. Is it possible to resolder the connector to a XT90 plug, or does it need connection with all 5 pins? What are the center pins? Figure the outer two are gnd & 48V out. Battery...

Having a hard time find any of those with a good motor, like a Bafang. That one is 500w only, bit too low for commuting. Also USA based, so I'll get slapped with +35% on import. Any similar models with larger motor (750-1000w bafang) and EU based? Got 24h more of the 11.11 sale, so would like...

Is this the case for the casual user though, which I assume are most people looking to buy chinese bikes? Full suspension is quite nice even for just daily commute riding.

Then I guess this bike is my only option, since only alternative I was suggested is Frey; despite it being a lot more expensive than my budget :P

Checked around a bit, kinda doubt I'll get a Frey bike for below 2000€ shipped to Sweden. Or am I mistaken?

Is there a vendor for Frey bikes in Europe? Shipping from Alibaba was 800$, then customs and tax will be another 700$.

Was also suggested Frey. They have two bikes at a similar/same cost: HT1000, Hunter Are these available from the EU? Googled a lot, but can only find their alibaba page which seems to be US/CH. This would put the cost at +400-600$ with my customs, which makes them far over my budget.

Will probably be buying this bike tomorrow. Going to add a 2nd battery with a switch to toggle between them, giving around 20Ah total. It will be mostly used for roads, no real mountain biking. Just gravel paths or asphalt. Is this a good buy, or got another suggestion that isn't more expensive...
