I don't think Kyle will be adversely affected because I honestly don't think the average user will put that many miles on it. It will be one of the toys in the garage that they break out on the weekends every now and then.

No need to trim, you can use the stock tubes. I originally ordered tubes from them and they didn't work out well, I emailed them about it and they said that original tubes would be fine. Also, the tannus tubes made the 4.8 tires look far slimmer, original tubes brought back the beefy look.

The base on my seat post is much wider. Maybe that is an older style of the frame?

How much road did you need to get up to 36? I ordered the USB cord to reprogram my unit, hopefully that will address my need for speed.

I mean if i have it on the kickstand, tilt the bike to the side so the back wheel is in the air and hit the throttle it will read out at 45 but not with me on it riding.

I must have a really slow one then. Raised the limit so the speedo shows highest available (60mph) but 25 is all I have been able to get up to so far.

He also said that he was doing 35 with just the throttle. What speed have you reached on throttle alone?

Was there a link at any point on how to get a bit more power out of the bafang mid drive motor on the bikes?

Exactly. It's like a tuffy liner that way. Thick piece of foam like material. Should protect against pretty much anything.

Anyone who got the Tannus Armour, turns out you can use the 26x4.0 tubes with it. I purchased it with their tubes that are 26x3.0-3.5 and the tubes were uneven, they refunded me for the tubes and said I could just use the originals. Put in the original tubes and the wheels look much wider...

Just received my Tannus bundle today. Don't have the bike yet but the tannus inserts are thick! Great protection im sure.

Depends on the shipping you selected, to the port and handled by a forwarder or to your front door. With to your door shipping Fed-Ex handles the second half of the trip which will prevent you from having to track down a forwarder. Slightly more expensive option by maybe 50 or 80 bucks I think...
