Hmm..Charging lead? Not sure if you mean the cable on the charger itself (which is working fine at charging the onboard/integrated battery) or something internal to the extender. I prefer not to take the battery apart and void possibility of warranty or return. Thanks for sharing the fix/issue...

Did anyone find a solution other than returning the battery? I have the same issue on a brand new extender. received yesterday. Won't charge. No light on battery. Light on charger is green from the start.
