Bought an IZIP on Ebay, even using its extra low gear & throttle I can't get up this big hill near me. Guess the 2 lead-acid batteries make it too heavy? Can the motor be moved so it uses the gears? instead of using its own sprocket.

So bike'll = 7 & 1/7 Amps as 250w motor @ 35v. & that = the amps going to any watt-rating of motor. As the 1000w motor would need wires going to it changing if used @ full power, I'm thinking of using only 35v, so 20a controller OK, & run @ 720w. 1 would convert colums (Amp Hour) & volt to...

Yeah, so = it that N° of watts depends on controller or motor? How many watts from 36v 9ah battery if I got a controller rated @ 750 watts.

I've kit @ 1000 watt 48 volts no battery, & 2nd hand bike @ 250 watt 36 volt with battery. Different battery connectors, but tested kit's motor from bike's controller & it goes around. Would that = 750 watts (¾ of 1000 motor) or 250 watts (= bike's motor)?

Not any more flat tyres, could just be 'cos = longer since hedges cut. Same problem + moped in 70's. Take mobile phone + dad's N°. (found whole spear wheel on E-bay before, but didn't buy it then.) Brits've newer spelling of tire for rubber 1s.

err... I also use petrol M'bike, got flat tyre, turns out to be from thorns, they fitted inner-tube to what was tubeless, only'd that tyre for few weeks, cost more to repair than new!

If you've lead-acid battery keep it charged as the acid'll = stronger & less likely to freeze.

I'd the problem + my 1, not full charge on bike, but then green LED showing charged on charger. & sometimes loose all power on bike. Opened up battery case & found wire from charging point'd come loose, & sometimes sorted out, soldered it.
