Rize RX – Hits and misses new owner version

Oh now, lets not get into the horse -vs- bike/motorcycle argument. Had PLENTY of those as I was growing up, in the wilds of WV, with a small motorbike and argued with my older cousins (on horses) which was better. I had plenty points in favor of bike/motorbikes similar to yours. Of course...

Rize RX – Hits and misses new owner version

Blessed with great weather (around 65 and sunny) here in central NC. Cleaned up the bike a bit and charged the battery a bit this AM then went on a 15+ mile tour. Bike performed well, tons of people on the greenways, so lots of slowing down, speeding up and dodging all manner of...

Rize RX – Hits and misses new owner version

An update to my original post. Hit 200 miles today and here are few additional observations. Ride quality - Still loving it, although I still think it takes a lot of force for the seatpost to actually flex and provide some shock absorption. Shifting - Was missing some gears on occasion...

    Ultra programming

That is cool Ahicks. I also don't like the iniital 'hit' and power off-the-line and would like to lower this a bit. I might like your adjustments. Did you document your process somewhere, build a video or follow some instructions you can link? Loving the bike, really getting some good...

Rize RX – Hits and misses new owner version

Well, just an update on battery discharge time/speed. Had the need to take the jeep in for service today, so I unhooked the front tire, threw bike in the back and when I got to the shop I rode the bike home about 3+ miles. (had to get back to work!) Bike was fully charged just this AM...

Rize RX – Hits and misses new owner version

Hello fellow Rize owners. A week into my new RX and here are some hits and misses for the bike, components and accessories. Overall very pleased, bike is a blast and feels solid on the road and handles well with good-to-great power. At this short point in time, I am very pleased with the...

Rize September 2020 Delivery Input and Updates

My RX arrived this afternoon. Was able to put it together and take about a 5 mile shakedown cruise. Bike looks good, shifts and functions well in all gears. Build quality seems pretty good. Took the time to 'bed' my brakes. Need to do some final adjustments and check all the torque...

Rize September 2020 Delivery Input and Updates

Finished installing the Harkin Hoist today. Had done some pre-work about 2 years ago to mount some 2x6 to the rafter and previously used Ratchet style tie downs to slowly lift the Jeep top to the garage ceiling. Used to take about 20 minutes to ratchet up the top. Now, with the hoist, I...

Known Issues & Problems with Rize Bikes Products + Help, Solutions, & Fixes

Scheidty - Good find and troubleshooting. Curious about the fix however, I believe these controllers generate heat. Potentially, what you did by wrapping in furniture pads and rubber could act as insulation keeping the heat local to the controller and perhaps overheating much more...
