    Does anyone know offhand of a bike (not necessarily electric) that is close in size and tire size, so I can get a general idea of how it is to ride something this big. I trust what others say, that it handles well for its size, but would like experience something this big before I pull the trigger

    Tom - do you have one of these bikes or test ride one? I can see in this Thread that you are suspicious of the MD 1000 internal hub holding up, and now you are saying that the stock controller is a problem as well. I think if it was the good folks at Bolton Bikes would discover/solve that...

    This is exactly what I needed to hear. I want a substantial bike that is stable, fun, and can go a long way. I will probably do half roads and half dirt, but not extreme off-road. It seems like the two are not even in the same ballpark.

    Thanks Chris - Adventure, service roads, no racing downhill, no jumps. I am 6ft 190lbs. You did not get a chance to ride the Raptor did you? I am really curious about how different they ride.
