Yep, that's the same seat! We just went to his friend's 5 year old birthday party on it. He was all smiles, and lots of people are interested in the bike. It's a real conversation starter.
I just ordered a blue lite for the wife on Sunday. The website said 2 weeks, so hopefully it will be 2 weeks, lol. I've ordered 2 1.0's in the past. The first one was reasonably late, by about a week. The second was 4+ weeks late.
I have not ridden a 2.0, but I own a 1.0 that I've trail ridden stock, and after I installed a front air fork. You can ride off-road without a suspension, but you'll need to consider speed more carefully (go slower) and the vibrations will tire your arms more quickly. Huge difference after I...
Looks like your son's setup is similar to mine. Have been running this for almost 2 years now. No issues, and my kid loves it. I have the kids seat that sits in front, and he cruises with me everywhere.
Update:
After another week+ of riding, the air fork has made the off-road experience much more enjoyable. Before the upgrade, my arms would be itching from the rapid vibration after about 5-10 minutes of riding on the terrain in my area. Now I don't get that feeling even after 30 minutes...
There are lots of options out there.

Depends on the setup your are going with. I bought two setups. One for a BMX style stem and bars, and the other for a folding stem setup.

That was the first video I saw to inspire me to make the swap. It also served as a base line for my parts list. My BMX bars will be in today, so hopefully I'll do the swap this weekend if the kids allow it.
Just curious, did you remove the stock grips in the original bars? If so, what method did you use? I'm planning on reusing the stock ones on the new bars.
I actually bought two setups because I couldn't make up my mind at the time. Is a folding handlebar more important to me for my situation or a BMX setup? I'll be going the BMX setup route for the added piece of mind off-road. I should have all of the parts this week to complete the swap.
Those are two of my concern areas as well. I wasn't considering jumps and drops when I purchased the bike. The flexibility is what drew me to it. I'm happy enough with the lectric's capabilities.
Thanks for the tip on the tool. I planned on using the socket approach, as Im sure I have one similar in size to the ID in the fork tube. Maybe, I will shell out the $25 for the tool to avoid any complications. How did you set the bottom race on the fork? Did you buy a tool or use a makeshift...
I hope so. I come from a motocross/ trail riding background, and unfortunately where I live it's very limited where you can ride legally. While the ebike doesn't give me the same speed thrill, it gives me a greater appreciation/enjoyment with the more technical terrain. I'm hoping the air fork...
The above is my experience to date. I recheck for loosening bolts every other ride. Question, does your bike have a black cover to protect the right crank assembly? I have one in the left side for the cadence sensor, but none on the right. I'm wondering if dirt is getting in there causing part...
I've out about 100 miles on my XP since receiving it three weeks ago. Of those, 20 miles being ridden on trails. I've gone on light duty trails and rocky trails with tree roots. The lack of suspension up front will beat me up some and gives me quite the workout. It climbs hills surprisingly...
I bought this one based on his YouTube part list. Still waiting on all the other parts to make the swap. Hopefully, this will be huge upgrade for off-road riding...
