    Vado 4.0 SL range

I liked going the fastest I could. My senior legs only allowed an average of 18mph over the 13,500 miles. After 1,200 miles on the Sirrus X5.0 I’m averaging 14mph. Slow but steady.

    Vado 4.0 SL range

I had my Vado SL 4.0 for 32 months, with close to 13,500 miles and almost all on turbo mode. At the end I was getting around 21 miles on a full charge with about 5% battery left. My average speed on turbo was only 4mph faster than my current Sirrus X 5.0.

Very true, my daily rides are only 20+ miles on SL and Sirrus.

A quick ride review of the Vado SL 4.0

After 2 months of riding my new 2023 Sirrus X 5.0 I was surprised to find my average speed is only 4mph slower than my 32 month old Vado SL 4.0(riding almost exclusively on Turbo mode). I guess the 10 pounds lighter Sirrus makes this possible.

The last firmwear update I had was around the 2 year mark(9.22).Not sure how to calculate watts contributed.

Had around 590 charge cycles near the end. I was still getting about 21 miles per charge on turbo with about 5% battery remaining(a few were near 24 miles when weather was in mid 70s).

    New SL 1.2 motor revealed

I had my SL 4.0 motor replaced at the 2 year warranty mark with just under 11,000 miles, riding on turbo mode the past 1.5 years. Finished up at around 13,500 miles after 32 months. Switched to a Sirrrus X5.0 two weeks ago.

A quick ride review of the Vado SL 4.0

Just sold my Vado SL 4.0. A wonderful experience for the past 32 months. It’s been a blast reading all the excellent advice on this forum. Taking another test ride tomorrow with the 2023 Sirrus X 5.0 and will probably get it next Monday(unless Specialized announces a new Vado SL before then)...

A quick ride review of the Vado SL 4.0

I also went from a Sirrus to the Vado SL 4.0 non EQ 2.5 years ago for the same reason. Tried the 2023 Sirrus X5.0 a few weeks ago and was really impressed. I’m on the fence about switching back to the Sirrus. Waiting for upcoming news on an updated SL.

Turbo Vado SL 5.0 or Fx+2

I’ve had my Vado SL 4.0 non EQ for 2.5 years and have mostly used it in Turbo mode and keeps me in the 20mph average range. New motor was covered by the 2 year warranty after just under 11,000 miles. Currently when I charge it only charges to 92%. Just before I ride I put it back on charger to...

Test ride the Sirrus X 5 last week, my number 1 analog bike also.

A quick ride review of the Vado SL 4.0

I think the biggest factor is really just my level of fitness. If I could just hop on my road bike today and knock out 20-30 miiles, then I think I'd have a much different view of the Vado SL. Looking forward to getting to that place and then re-evaluating the Vado SL! Harr there is a good...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Since 2019 when the Vado SL came out how many have had to replace a dead battery? What were the symptoms. Was it a gradual decline in distance traveled? Or maybe this rarely happens.

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

My lbs did a battery check about 6 months ago and it came back as 92% efficient, whatever that means. I was looking more for real world experience from other riders. Your best ever range of 22.3 miles on turbo tells me that my 20 miles today is not to far off track. Thanks.
