Scott e-RIDE Addict 30 and the world of easier hills

Thanks for the replies! It does have both sensors. I did some further tests, if I apply more pressure on the pedal, the motor also outputs more power. So the torque sensor seems to work. I may have to use the app to adjust the settings.

I just got a Rose Reveal Plus with the Mahle X20 and I have a question to those who actually own a bike with the X20. The motor of my Reveal Plus already kicks in if I just act as if I was pedaling (without pushing force to the pedal). Is this normal behaviour? It thought this is only an issue...

    Mahle X20

@Stefan Mikes Those are not my words, Mahle says that about their X20.

    Mahle X20

I'm looking for a new electronic road oder gravel bike and did some research the last couple of days. The X35 offers 18Nm of torque which is comparable to a 40 Nm mid drive motor, whereas the X20 has 23 Nm (that equals a 55 Nm mid drive motor). I found the info here. Furthermore in this German...

    BMC Alpenchallenge AMP E-bikes

Forgot to mention that I actually bought the bike a few days ago. The ride is like no other bike before, I like it very much. But still undecided if I like the non integrated battery :D. The color of the BMC does not seem to be black, ist more like a dark midnight blue. But that is only visible...

    BMC Alpenchallenge AMP E-bikes

Thank you, will keep you updated! And I also think one should support the local dealer. Tried a Cannondale Quick Neo today. The Bosch motor is very silent. But it does not feel as powerful as the Shimano. And I did not like the geometry of the bike. I also tried a Fazua bike from Canyon, which...

    BMC Alpenchallenge AMP E-bikes

Good point! My dealer offers the AMP City Two for the same price, but I'm planning to use the BMC as it is. I don't like racks and fenders on a bike. I may use it for commuting, but the main purpose is to ride the bike in my free time in the area around my hometown and I really like the Shimano...

    BMC Alpenchallenge AMP E-bikes

Thanks for your replies! @gerardo.garcia My apartment is on the ground floor, but still I have to carry the bike a few meters. So weight is important, but not very important. I actually go the Specialized Vado SL for a test ride today. Compared to the E6100 the new Specialized motor does not...

    BMC Alpenchallenge AMP E-bikes

Hey, is anyone of you using the Alpenchallenge AMP SPORT TWO? A local dealer offers the bike with a 20% discount, but I'm not completely sold on this version, because it's a bit heavier than the carbon models and only offers a 418 Wh battery. And I'm also not sure about the overall look of the...
