I ride in top gear & mode everywhere I go , after re-coding it I see 28.5-29.5 mph frequently . And the bike will blast past 21-speed racers like they are parked , it really surprises alot of people . Its hard to go back to "just" 20 mph after tasting the forbidden fruit....

I had the latch open up on me going 20+ mph . The bike started going sideways like a rear flat but it was the frame opening up ! Thank goodness the bike electrics stopped once the hinge opened up . I made it to the side of the road without wrecking but that could have been bad . I did what you...

I want to add to something I realized riding today , after hitting 28mph a "governor" or cut-off kicks-in to keep it from accelerating more . You can feel it cut in . I think theres probably a code to unleash more power....How much more ??

I weigh 180lbs and have no trouble hitting 28mph . Top gear 7 and P-5 , of course . I also noticed that even downhill it will not go over about 29mph max (still have never seen 30mph .)

Right . I hit 25mph without pedaling and 29mph pedaling hard , top gear 7.

I just changed mine to the PO8=45 setting . Easily hit 28 mph on flat pavement . Makes it a fast bike...:rolleyes:

Order no. #16413 came in today , box in perfect shape , bike packed perfect. Very happy with my purchase , worth the wait ! Got 12 miles on her , flawless . First ebike , Im a motorcycle mechanic . It definitely needs taller gears , the e-motor outruns the bikes gearing making pedaling useless...
