    Mirror for commuter ST1

My ST1 is used for commuting to/from work for 26 miles round trip and I'm considering purchase of a mirror to improve my on the road commute safety. My main concern is colliding with cars/other bikes behind me as I may have to move over some to my left. Any recommendation bicycle mounted...

    Rack bags for rear rack

Previous owner installed these panniers from REI on my ST1, waterproof, roll up top so they hold a ton of stuff. I think they fit the city kit without mod (but not sure).

Ordering an ST1 - should I add City Kit?

I also have the city kit with Supernova headlight. It's nice! It's not the brightest headlamp, and taillamp is kind of bland, but I prefer the integrated and no-fuss factory setup. Yet I understand that you can buy a lot of light and fender with the retail price of the City Kit.

    Stromer ST1 codes

Related to ST1 controller codes, my ST1 controller display, upon turning the bike on, shows code of C08.0 and d00.88 I was curious as what these codes indicate, maybe trouble codes, error codes?!? I asked a Stromer rep and he replied: "The codes (0.88) you see when you first power it on are not...

    ST1 never shows regenerative arrows

As eastsidebiker noted in another thread, change ST1's code 1011 and you'll notice a big difference in RECUP braking. I changed my RECUP strength (code 1011) from 5 to 50 and the motor slowdown in RECUP is notable now. As a matter of fact it is a little too notable that I almost lost my balance...

    Stromer ST1: confused in paradise!

I also received a response from Stromer rep saying basically the same as what bluecat noted: "That item is used for firmware updates and is in great shape. It does need to be tucked up into the Velcro Stromer sleeve that came with the bike to avoid exposure and potential damage." Just adding...

    Stromer ST1: confused in paradise!

Thanks bluecat! Already feel better knowing it's not a misplaced sensor or something. I'l add a second zip-tie and also try to cover as much of it under the existing velcro cover to protect it against the elements. BTW, if you or anyone knows of ST1 wiring diagram or other ST1 technical...

    Stromer ST1: confused in paradise!

Just picked up a very low miles used 2014 ST1 today from first owner. It rides fine, and looks clean. Yet upon later inspection saw a wire (maybe a sensor unit) is just hanging near the rear hub motor (see picture). Appreciate if anyone knows the purpose of this wire, and whether it's normal to...
