I know how it's designed, we get that. That's why I used the word "unlock". The bike is capable of 28mph and the throttle clearly has a "shut off" at 20mph. I would put money on the fact that a person could disable that shutoff.

The real question is, how do you unlock the 28mph with throttle only (no pedal assist)

Could you tell us how wide this lock is at its widest point? I am really wanting a Thousand helmet, and they have a hole built in to lock the helmet up with the bike. I'm wondering if this chain would fit through that hole.

I noticed several bags on Amazon that have an angled section cut away so that your heels don't hit it. If I don't get a free bag from Lectric I'll be going that route + a milk crate on the back.

Not sure about the handlebars, but the reviews on Amazon for the smaller accessories extender bar are BRUTAL.
